Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to a branch of computer science that deals with creating systems that can perform tasks that normally require human intelligence, such as:
* Learning: The ability to acquire knowledge and improve one’s performance through experience
* Reasoning: The ability to draw logical conclusions and make decisions based on available information
* Perception: The ability to detect and interpret sensory data, such as images, sounds, and text
* Language understanding: The ability to understand and generate natural language
AI can be divided into two main categories:
* Weak AI: This refers to systems that are designed to perform specific tasks, such as image recognition or text translation. These systems do not have a general understanding of the world and are unable to perform tasks outside their specific domain.
* Strong AI: This refers to systems that are designed to have a general understanding of the world and to be able to perform tasks of any kind. These systems are still being researched and have not yet been developed.
